Spring Concert

B rocked the spring concert last night! He was so happy to have all of his Grandparents there to watch him sing. He definitely enjoys being on stage! :) (When you see him glance to the side and smile, he's smiling at his friend Alyssa) Enjoy...

Growing up... :(

It's been a while since the boys have used the swingset so we decided it was time to come down. Jere grabbed his chainsaw and got to work. I think he had a little too much fun. :) Just so happened that K's "friend" Taylor stopped by with her Mom in the evening to see if Kol could play. It was nice to meet her Mom, and actually get to meet her (she is a cute little blonde). Kol went to play at her house and I think it only lasted about 40 minutes until he was ready to come home. :) Anyway, it was an interesting day... K going to his first "girlfriends" house and the swingset coming down. The years fly by too fast! :(

Bridal Shower

Blair's daughter, Meredith, is getting married in July and Mom and I had a shower for her this weekend. It was an awesome day with great weather, company and food! It was nice to see Blair's Mom, Hazel, again and meet some of Meredith's family members. Mom picked the perfect Gerber Daisies as favors and all of the decorations looked great!

Happy Easter

We had a great time hanging out with family at the beach! Uncle Richard and Aunt Lisa had a great egg hunt for the boys with camo eggs! It obviously took them longer to locate the eggs but it was tons of fun, and a little funny too. The Easter Bunny left the boys and Audrey a wonderful note and a secret message... H.A.H.E... I'll let you figure that one out. (Thanks, Mom!) :) The boys enjoyed painting eggs, eating candy, watching Spider-Man, shooting hoops, playing lacrosse with Uncle Sean, and hanging with their relatives.

We drove home early Easter morning so we could spend time with Mom-Mom & family in the morning, and G-man, Nana & family in the afternoon. It was so nice visiting with everyone!

Swim Star

B started his swim class again and is rockin' the pool! He's mastering his freestyle stroke and learning the back stroke. He loves swimming and is looking forward to this fall when he'll be old enough to join the swim club. He's also looking forward to Grandpa & G-ma's pool being open so he can practice more. Jere got some sweet footage from his last class... Go B-nut!!!

LAX

K just started lacrosse and l-0-v-e-s it! It also happens to be a favorite of the grandparents and parents. :) So far we've had three games, 2 wins and 1 loss. Haven't recorded a goal yet but he's had plenty of them! I did manage to get some footage of a recent game...

Elementary Musical (not to be confused with High School Musical)...

Brady is learning lots of cool songs for his Spring program at school. Here is one of the songs... :)

Basketball

Kollin just finished his basketball season. We spent about 24 hours at basketball playoffs last weekend and finished in 3rd place (out of 17 teams!)! The boys really learned to play as a team and we're so proud of them!

Brady's basketball season just started. He's doing a great job for his first year, having fun and learning lots! We'll keep you posted as the season progresses...

Kollin's Birthday!

Kollin's birthday weekend was a huge success! He had a bunch of his buddies come over for pizza, a movie and sleepover on Friday night. The first and second floor of our house was a Nerf battlefield for a few hours but otherwise the party went well. The boys managed to stay awake until almost midnight. They probably would have tried to stay up later but grinchy-Mom sat in the room shushing the boys for about 10 minutes until they all passed out. :)
We got to spend time with LOTS of family on Saturday, which is always my favorite. I painted a huge canvas for the wall in the basement and we had everyone put their handprint (and Audrey's footprint) on it, creating our version of a family tree. We just need a few more family members to make it complete. :)

Christmas Day

After years of waking up around 5:30 on Christmas morning I was ready to sleep in... at least until 6. :) Of course the boys crept into our room around 3:00 and were anxious to see if Santa arrived. I shot that idea down and we all slept for another half hour. Finally around 4:30 AM, Jereme and the boys persuaded me to go down and see if Santa arrived. I think we were done opening gifts by 5:00 AM... crazy how all of the wrapping, planning, etc. is over so fast! Waking up SO early did make it easy to relax for a while... playing new games together, drinking mimosas and enjoying our tradition of cinnamon buns. :) We headed over to Mom & Blair's around noon to visit with Mitch, Theresa, Audrey, Matt, Kristen, Grandma and Blair's kids. It was a wonderful Christmas day!
